Dreamfall: The Longest Journey

Well, I’ve talked about the Longest Journey, it only makes sense that I talk about its sequel, Dreamfall.  In the adventure community, this had to be one of the most highly anticipated games of recent memory.  It took seven years to complete due to some development hell and the longer the fans waited the more their expectations grew.  Unfortunately, as with all over-hyped games, those expectations were not met and the game did not do nearly as well as it was expected to.  However that doesn’t mean it was a bad game.

Dark Fall 3: Lost Souls

Well, my favourite time is almost upon us: HALLOWEEN!  And what better way to celebrate than to play the oh so spooky Dark Fall 3: Lost Souls.  And it's scary.  Very scary.  So scary that I can't play it by myself.  Okay, that goes for pretty much all scary games but this has to be one of the worst for sending me into fits of hyperventilation.

The Longest Journey

It’s time to go old school again!  And this time I’ll be visiting one of my all time favourites, The Longest Journey.  If you’ve been following this blog, you probably know that my love for TLJ knows no bounds.  It’s made every Top 5 list and it’s mentioned at least once in almost every post.  So I finally indulged my nostalgia craving and re-installed it on my computer to see how well it holds up today as a game.  And the answer is:  still pretty damn well.
